1st SHOW OF 2026 IN THE BOOKS! NEXT SHOW APRIL 11

Thanks to everyone who came out to our first show of the year on February 13th! We had an amazing time with great friends, bands, and made some new fans and friends.

Our next show has just been announced and we're excited to be a part of it: Amplify the Cause  is a fundraiser for the Durham Rape Crisis Centre and Aids Committee of Durham. Join us Saturday April 11 at the Biltmore Theatre for this all ages event with a killer lineup including My Friend the Skeleton, Plz Respond, & Karl Escape.

PROOF OF DOG 

Proof of Dog is a versatile rock and roll band from the sub-urban Sahara Durham Region, (Oshawa /Whitby just outside Toronto). Drawing on influences from the 70’s up through modern and post-rock like (Floyd, Sabbath, Jack White, QOTSA, Radiohead, All Them Witches), they create a sonic brew with parts blues, psych, progressive, and space rock, and serve it up hotter than your mom's weekend chilli. Their guitar-driven songs, catchy melodies, powerful rhythms, and atmospheric soundscapes are made without a click, Ai, or backing tracks - all with the goal of making you dance-bang (dance and head-bang) your way through their set.

Proof of Dog have released 3 singles available everywhere, and the songs Looking For Love and Insane  have received airplay from 94.9 The Rock (Durham), and radio in Northumberland and Peterborough. They've played to great success at venues like The Horse Tavern and The Biltmore Theatre, opening for Canadian Indie band Zeus, playing Ed the Sock's SOCKTOBERFEST 2025, and supporting the band Harm & Ease at the Biltmore February 13th, 2026.  They look forward to recording an album, playing more shows, and making new friends in 2026.
